Press Statement from APC Chieftain Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's Media Office.

"All Progressives Congress National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to sue the Management of the Daar Communications Limited, owners of the Africa Independent Television, AIT for the defamatory content of a documentary aired on Sunday.
Counsel to Asiwaju Tinubu, Tunji Abayomi, said a letter asking Daar Communications to apologize for the content and stop further airing was delivered this afternoon.
A part of the letter to AIT reads, " ... You aired an hour long documentary focussing on our client (Bola Tinubu). Clearly pre-occupied with political resentment and hatred neither warranted, necessary, proper, or justified, you published several false allegations against our client...More disturbing is your misrepresentation that the said documentary was "sponsored" without disclosing the "sponsors". You cannot under law, hide under media freedom to maliciously injure a citizen's reputation".
The letter also demanded for N20billion (Twenty Billion Naira) as cost of damage done to the reputation of its client failing which the client will sue the company.
Another part of the letter reads: "…to affirm the right of our client against your defamatory publication, we demand that you confirm to us within 24 hours of receipt of this letter, an apology and retraction of the said publication/documentary."

A teenage girl was burnt to death today in Bauchi after she was suspected to be a member of Boko Haram and a possible suicide bomber.

According to reports, the young lady had refused security men stationed at the entrance of the Muda Lawal market in Bauchi state to screen her with metal detectors. This raised suspicion among the market men and women who then forcefully raised the Hijab she was wearing and discovered two bottles tied around her waist. The market men and women immediately descended on her, beat her to death and then burnt her remains.

Confirming the incident, the state police spokesperson, Hatuna Mohammed in a statement said the sad incident happened at about 7am and that she'd been killed before police could come to her rescue
“At about 0700 hours (0600 GMT), information at our disposal revealed that a yet to be identified lady who allegedly refused to allow herself to be screened at the entrance of Muda Lawal Market Bauchi was attacked by irate mob,” he said

So, recently APC VP Candidate Prof Osinbajo took the Media back to his childhood village and home in Ogun state where the photo above was captured by an APC cameraman. The man in the photo was initially said to be Osinbajo's father (see the resemblance) but APC says that is his brother not father.

So here's why this photo is controversial. Them PDP people are trying to use the pic to their benefit. They are saying whether brother or father, why is he living in such a condition? Below is what they posted on a Pro-Jonathan Facebook page, Hope for Nigeria;
"What is the difference between someone's father and his brother, that Yemi Osibanjo will neglect them, even when he has been blessed by God as a Pastor, senior partner at SimmonsCooper Partners, a Professor, 8 years as Tinubu's Attorney General, director in Bola Tinubu's Alpha Beta Limited. How can you manage a country, when you can't take care of your relatives?"
Some folks are saying the guy is not even related to Osinbajo. That it's just a propaganda pic...lol
