Heidi P. Martinez will serve as the 2015 president of the Women’s Council of Realtors — Mile High Chapter.
Martinez is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Devonshire office in Cherry Creek North.

The Women’s Council is a Nationwide Community of 12,000 Real Estate Professionals who are Members of the National Association of Realtors.
It is the 12th Largest U.S. Women’s Professional Organization in the U.S.
It provides a referral and networking system to Members as well as providing Professional Designations.

During the decades since it was created, it has championed issues including that Women Realtors be paid Commissions equal to those being paid to Men.
It traces its roots to 1924 when  the Women’s Division of the California Real Estate Association was created.

Martinez  was born in Chicago, but raised in Denver.

She has been selling real estate in the Denver area since 1992. She earned a Degree in Business and Finance from Regis University in Denver.
During her Career, she has been involved with Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Marketing, Sales, Leasing, Development and Project Management.

Before joining Devonshire, she had worked at McBroom Co. and Century Real Estate Services.
At those firms she specialized in Tenant Representation, as well as being involved with condominium developments, Senior Housing, Offices, Mixed-use and Retail Developments.
Her broad background, she says, provides her with a unique perspective on all aspects of Real Estate.
