Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has banned roadside
car wash in the state. The governor placed the ban while inspecting a
new road project in Aba, the state capital and Umuahia. According to the
governor, the detergents used in washing the cars on the road cause
the tars on the road to deteriorate.
